HALF DAY WHALE WATCH TOUR

Join us for an amazing morning of whale watching on the Gold Coast.

Your day begins when you board our luxurious 32 meter high speed air conditioned, wave piercing catamaran. This vessel allows for fantastic viewing opportunities with 5 viewing platforms and is the first and largest most stable, whale watching vessel on the Gold Coast.

Whilst onboard enjoy complimentary fresh muffins for morning tea each morning on your way out to see the whales. Large video displays playing whale documentaries and informative commentary from our experienced eco team will be shown throughout your journey for your viewing pleasure.

Be enchanted by local dolphins that ride the bow wave of our vessel as we leave the Gold Coast seaway most mornings. Sea turtles, migrating sea birds and other whale species are often spotted on our morning trip.

The shape of our hull and the way it shines down into the water creates a very appealing aqua colour directly below, this entices the curious humpback whales as they can often be clearly seen sitting below us and popping up along side the vessel to have a look at the passengers onboard.

Our highly experienced Captain and crew will ensure your morning on the ocean will be a truly memorable experience.

Be sure not to miss this exciting opportunity to experience these majestic mammals in their natural habitat on their annual migration past our coastline.

OPTIONAL UPGRADE to a FULL-DAY:

WHALE & ISLAND ADVENTURE

When you've finished the excitement of your morning whale watching cruise on one of Australia's fastest and safest whale watching vessels, extend your day and join us for an afternoon of fun on South Stradbroke Island where you can enjoy a full Australian BBQ Buffet lunch in our Balinese island setting. After lunch take a 4WD Eco Adventure tour of South Stradbroke Island where you have the oppertunity to go sand toboganning on the eastern slopes of the island.

Relax or dance the day away with our daily entertainer or enjoy many of the FREE activities: canoes, paddle boats, volleyball court, pool table, shuttle cock, beach cricket are all yours to enjoy free of charge or try one of the optional motorised watersports or take a seasplane ride over the Gold Coast beaches all directly available from McLarens Landing.

You might even get to take the TALL SHIP home as a complimentary extra where you have the opportunity to feed wild Sea Eagles, or transfer onto our speedboat where you can parasail on the way home, WOW!

Whale Watching is a full morning of fun, but most people end up wasting the rest of their day because they didn't plan ahead - we recommend the island experience as the perfect way to get the most out of your holiday for only that little bit extra. If you are a land lover, why not join your family or friends after their morning whale watch and experience the afternoon together on the island.
